Daniel got me thinking this morning about the importance of how I approach God and speak with Him through prayer. I was struck by Daniel's absolute attitude of humbleness, his sincere seeking of God's mercy and his recognition and praising of God for who He is. 

So how do you approach God and speak with Him? Are praise and confession a regular part of your prayers? If so, have these practices changed the types of things you pray for? How will Daniel's prayer influence your prayers this week? Tami
