today's reading.
1 Thessalonians 4:1-8   Finally, then, brothers, we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, just as you are doing, that you do so more and more...

the blog.
Paul, talking about a life that is pleasing to God, very plainly tells us in 1 Thessalonians 4:3 that we are to "abstain from sexual immorality."

"For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God." 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5

So how do we live out 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 when we're surrounded by the worldly message that sex is good, it's fun and if it feels right to you, you should be participating in it? What are you allowing to come into your life (or your families' life) through music, television, reading, internet, movies, cell phones? Tami W.
