Exalt & Worship!

today's reading.
Psalm 99:1-9    The LORD reigns; let the peoples tremble! He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake...
Psalms 99

Psalms 99think about it.
What is the Lord's position in relation to the rest of the world (99:1-3)? What does the King (God) love (99:3-5)? Moses, Aaron and Samuel called on the Lord; what did He do for them and His people (99:6-9)? What do you take from this psalm as the focus of your praise of God today?

the blog.
Three times in the nine short verses of Psalm 99 we're told that God is holy, and accompanying this declaration is the command to praise His name, (vs. 3), exalt the Lord and worship at his footstool (vs. 5) and to exalt the Lord and worship at his holy mountain (vs. 9). Pretty clear message.

So what are you going to do with the recurring instruction to both exalt the Lord and to worship Him? How will you put this into practice this weekend? Tami W.
