Money--we can't live without it, and it causes all kinds of issues and struggles as we live with it. That's probably why the Bible addresses money so frequently. Two passages that I find helpful when it comes to dealing with money are Proverbs 3:9 and Matthew 6:19-21. Both leave no doubt that my primary focus had better be God and not money. Because the moment it isn't, my motivation is wrong which leads to me making bad decisions and moves me away from God instead of closer to Him. Not smart. Not good.

So what are you doing with your money that honors God? Are you doing enough? Could you do more? How? Tami W.

P.S. Check out a list of five principles about money taken straight from God's Word. It's a great reminder of how to view money as God intended.
