After eating His final meal with the disciples, Jesus heads to the Mount of Olives and the Garden of Gethsemane, to pray. Before I even got to the heart of today's passage, these four little words from verse 39 caught my attention--"as was his custom." Prayer was an important part of Jesus' life. Praying was a regular practice and from what we see here, Jesus had a regular place where He prayed and that place was secluded and quiet.
