A Perverted and Corrupted Religion
How sick is this: a 22-year-old mother of two blew herself up on the border between Israel and the Gaza strip, killing four Israelis and wounding seven others.
The terror groups Hamas and Al-Aqsa martyrs brigade claimed joint responsibility which they said was to avenge Israel’s killing of Palestinians. They also promised to escalate these attacks.
In a videotape she made before the killings, the woman is shown smiling as she cradled an assault rifle. She professed love for her children, a 3 ½ year-old boy and a 1 ½ year-old girl. Before the attack she said she wanted to turn her body into “deadly shrapnel.”
This is the kind of insanity that is taught by radical Islamists. Their leaders never kill themselves. They entice young men and now women to kill themselves and others along with them.
It is perverted and corrupted religion and it is what Israel fights everyday.
Increasingly – and especially as we let more of them into this country – it is what we will face and have to fight in the near future.
