Preparing for a Different Kind of Attack

How prepared are you for another attack by radical Islamic extremists? I'm not just talking about the tiny chance that you might be killed. What about the stock market? Are you prepared to be wiped-out financially?

Our enemies hate Jews, Christians and Americans, not necessarily in that order. They are destined to live their lives in dirt and caves and tents, never knowing anything approaching success or prosperity. Their creed is hate in the name of God, who is love. But their God isn't love.

Recently, a spokesman for Osama bin Laden, who claims he is alive, said this: "God gave us a historic and great victory that broke the backs of Americans and broke the back of the greatest power in the world." He said more are on the way.

So, what would you do? You had better decide now, because if another attack comes it may be too late for you to decide then. It's an awful prospect, isn't it? But the prophets knew what they were talking about when all of this was predicted, even thousands of years ago. I'm Cal Thomas in Washington.
