Lost at 2:00 am, during a foolish youthful adventure, I headed home. While turning around in heavy snow my car plunged into a ditch. Stuck, on a cold night, miles from anywhere, a car approached. I was determined to stop the oncoming car.
Boldly and foolishly, I stood firmly in the highway. My boldness proved successful. The driver delivered me home safely.
Jesus taught about a persistent friend boldly asking another friend for bread. In Luke 11:8 He said, "I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man's boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs."
There are times when boldness is required for success. Be wise, but be bold.
