Chorus of the Saints

Style: Charismatic pop/rock in the vein of Downhere, One Republic, and Sanctus RealTop Tracks: "Chorus of the Saints," "The Truth Is," "You Know"

In a nutshell: With the hand-picked endorsement of Third Day, new band Revive receives first class handling on Chorus of the Saints. Moving from Australia to Atlanta to record its debut disc under Mac Powell's veteran tutelage, Revive issues dynamic pop/rock that's diverse, keeping the listener interested from track to track. The title cut is an accessible power anthem that beautifully utilizes Dave Hanbury's lead vocals, a unique mix between Kevin Max and Jon Bon Jovi. "You Know" screams southern rock with gritty tambourines and Powell's distinct harmony. And "Distant Memories" incorporates chimes, horns, and mandolin—effectively proving that Revive is not just another rock band but an exceptional find for Christian music.
