In a nutshell: San Diego's Future of Foresty is a member of the ever-growing collection of Christian rock bands that fills every available inch of their songs with sound. Even the quiet songs on this six-song disc (the first in a series of three EPs the band is releasing this year) are awash with glassy keyboard noise or the hum of a string section. Amid the clamor are some lovely songs that build to triumphal climaxes and are filled with the confidence that many bands strive for, but few actually achieve.??
