The four-piece outfit offers singable melodies driven by vertical lyrics, complementing its worship tag but failing to add anything overtly original to the overextended genre. But if the aim is broader, songs like "Taking Over," a non-cliché anthem offering an eternal perspective for the darker nights of overcoming addiction, could have great impact if sung corporately in congregations.
