In a nutshell: On their fourth major release, Everyday Sunday are projecting a little more wisdom. Nothing too profound, mind you, but mixed into the fist-pumping, chant-along whoa-oos are themes of growing up, regret, dealing with changing relationships, living in community, and taking responsibility for your own actions. These are still sweaty, full-speed-ahead rock anthems dripping with the energy and emotion of youth—in fact, the title track "Best Night of Our Lives" is poised to become the prom/graduation night anthem of the year. Radio-friendly hooks flourish throughout, and there are enough midtempo ballads to maintain decent variety in this fun collection.
