Style: Unexciting piano hymns; compare to Watermark, Gary Hemenway Top tracks: "I Have Decided to Follow Jesus," "Glory to His Name"

In a nutshell: Considering how joyful the three principal members of Selah look on all their album covers and in every photo you see of them, it's surprising that their music doesn't follow suit. With few exceptions, the trio sticks to their tried and true formula of piano-heavy, singing-to-the-cheap-seats ballads and modern hymns. The album matches their bright smiles only on a pair of ebullient tracks, especially the Congolese-inspired "I Have Decided to Follow Jesus," that manage to shine even brighter than the album's already buffed and polished performances and production.?
