Faith Working through Love
think about it.
Using an illustration from the life of Abraham (see Genesis 16 & 21:1-21), how does Paul explain the law and grace? Which way is the better way to live? Why would you settle for second best when God gives you the best way? What has Christ done for us? What helps us wait for the hope of righteousness (5:5-6)?
More from Paul today on the law and having faith in Christ. Now there are a number of points to consider and look at here in Galatians 4:21-5:6, but it was the point Paul made in the very last verse that really jumped off the page at me. "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision or uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love" (Gal. 5:6).
So what does faith working through love mean to you? Based on the verses in Galatians 5, what is it we should be striving for? Tami W.
