Last week I did a broadcast titled “Good Is Evil and Evil Is Good.” I said that when any culture decides that sex is no longer a moral issue and chooses to define sexuality by virtue of behavioral choices and preferences rather than biological facts, that such a culture would find it impossible to find any reason to say that any sexual acts are wrong.

In trying to make my point I cited the news that the Canadian Parliament is now considering a bill to decriminalize pedophilia because, as one retired professor from the University of Montreal, said “Pedophiles are… grappling with… a sexual orientation” and “an exclusive preference” that cannot be changed.

I concluded by asking if you’re really ready to slide further down this slippery slope where words like “preference” and “orientation” are so freely used by adults to justify their use of kids for their own sexual gratification.

Well, if you’re not convinced yet that my argument makes at least a little bit of sense, consider this: David Epstein, a professor at Columbia University, who is now being prosecuted for having incestuous sex with his daughter, was recently defended on ABC News by his attorney who said this: "It’s okay for [those of other sexual orientations] to do whatever they want in their own home. How is this so different?” Citing the Swiss Parliament’s present deliberations to allow parents to have sex with their children, Epstein’s attorney went further: “There is an argument to be made in the Swiss case to let go what goes on privately in bedrooms."

Ideas always lead somewhere and the idea of sexual behavior with no moral definitions is one that always leads down a debauched path of adults having their own way. The unfortunate thing is that they always drag their kids with them.
