The Greatness of our God: Day Nine

Lori Freeland

Proverbs 18:10

The name of the LORD is a strong tower;

the righteous run to it and are safe.

Dear Alek,

No matter where you are, the Lord is your strong tower. When you abide in His will, He directs your steps. This means you follow where He leads and He keeps you on the path that's right for your life. He knows what's best for you. Always. Even more than I do. And thank goodness for that! Because He is holy and perfect, I never have to worry about trusting you in His care. When you feel as though you are searching for your purpose in a dimly lit room with no idea where to step next, remember He is in control. All you have to do is ask and He will lead you.

Prayer:

Lord, show Alek the amazing path you have planned for him. Put people and blessings in his life that lead him where You have predestined him to go. Give him a love for something new. Show him hidden skills and talents. Don't let him flounder in the dark. Bless the classes he takes this year. Give him the motivation to learn and grow and do well because it pleases You. Make yourself important in his world. Give him the desire to cling to You everyday. Thank you for being his strong tower.

The Journey
 Who are you praying for today?

Even Jesus prayed.

“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark,

Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place,

where he prayed” (Mark 1:35 NIV).
