Grieve Well

To everything there is a season, Solomon says. “A time to be born and a time to die” (Ecclesiastes 3:2). During a time of loss it is natural to grieve, and in fact grieving is the God-given process whereby we ‘let go’ of the loved one. Many of us try to short-circuit the grieving process, but it is important to embrace our tears and sadness. This will give way, soon enough, to future times of joy.
