Wounds Being Expressed

It has been said that everyone we meet is in need of love and kindness. What if we approached everyone as if they were desperately in need of love and kindness, and their behavior, no matter how outrageous, was an indirect cry for love and caring? Would we approach them differently? If we knew the context of their behavior, would we be more understanding? I think so. Consider seeing through someone’s hurtful behavior as an expression of their wounds---see if that changes how you approach them.
