Forgive Yourself, Again and Again

There are times when I cut myself too much slack, letting myself get away with behavior I should never ignore. There are as many times when I’m hard on myself, critical of things said and things not said. Hindsight is, as you know, 20/20, but living in the here and now is much more complicated. Someone has asked the question, ‘What if the least of these is you and you are the one needing an act of kindness?’ When you make a mistake, do you forgive yourself? You are deserving of forgiveness as much as anyone. Practice forgiving yourself, again and again.
