God is Our Strength

We cannot find our battles on our strength alone. We fight battles every day and become weary in the struggle. But, we don’t have to lose heart even when we lose strength. The Psalmist said it well: “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever” (Psalm 73:26). When we grasp this truth, we are strengthened in our spirit. We know we cannot fully rely on our abilities, but we can lean on the strength of God. Know that when your strength fails, as it surely will, you can turn to God.
