Carefully Avoid a Root of Bitterness

The Apostle Paul took great care to emphasize that we must “obtain the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled.” How much do those words challenge you? They certainly challenge me and remind me that any root of bitterness will likely grow and hurt not only myself but many others. Will you agree with me to keep your life free from any root of bitterness, being quick to forgive others and thereby obtaining the grace of God?
