Do You Feel Like a Wandering Pilgrim?

I have often felt like a wandering pilgrim. As much as I’d like to say my life has had a clear and direct charting, that simply isn’t true. Rather, I’ve bounced around a bit. I’ve been on course, off course and back on course again. I’ve had times when I’ve been sure that I was in the center of God’s will. At other times I’ve felt like a wandering pilgrim. Like the Israelites, I’ve had times of “going around Mt. Sinai.” I’ve had lessons come at me time and again. Can you relate? Perhaps the best we will ever do is do our best to be sensitive to God and choose to “course correct” when we wander, which I believe is enough.
