Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) is partnering with Hillsong Church to launch a new Christian TV network which will feature worship music and messages from noteworthy pastors and teachers.

Charisma News reports that the new 24-hour network will launch on June 15, 2016 and will reach a global audience.

TBN Chairman Matthew Crouch spoke about TBN’s partnership with Hillsong:

"We are excited and honored to welcome the Hillsong Channel as the newest member of the Trinity Broadcasting Family of Networks. This powerful new praise and worship network will offer an amazing opportunity for us to reach a whole new generation of viewers with the message of hope and grace as we partner with the most iconic and far-reaching presence in contemporary Christian music."

Hillsong Church, which began in Sydney Australia, has expanded and now has locations in many major cities, including London, Paris, Stockholm, Cape Town, Buenos Aires, New York, Phoenix, and Los Angeles.

"This new aspect of the Hillsong global vision is unlike anything we have launched up to this point," said Hillsong Pastor Brian Houston. "It'll be a continuous, 24-7 feed that will be exalting Jesus and empowering people for every part of life."

"We're encouraging everyone to stay tuned as we prepare to introduce what we believe is one of the most exciting positive broadcast additions to come along in recent history. We think it's going to help broaden the scope and outreach of faith-and-family television worldwide,” Crouch added.
