Candace Cameron Bure Criticized for Posting Photo of Hillary Clinton

Christian actress and “The View” co-host Candace Cameron Bure is receiving criticism from many fans for posting a picture of “The View” hosts alongside Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Christian Today reports that Cameron Bure shared a photo to Instagram of herself with Clinton and the three other hosts of “The View” after Clinton joined them on the show.

“Nailed it! #HillaryOnTheView,” Cameron Bure captioned the photo.

Cameron Bure is known for her Christian beliefs, including conservative stances on issues like abortion and gay marriage, so many fans were offended that she would post a picture of herself with Clinton who is a Democrat and strongly pro-abortion.

"I love a lot of things Candace says and does, but I also feel she sometimes is lukewarm in her faith. Candace is a practicing Christian who is very pro-life. Yet she takes a picture with a big smile on her face with someone who just admitted the other day, and has in the past, that an unborn baby is worthless," one fan commented. "I don't judge people by what they say, but by what they do. And Candace's actions don't scream Christian to me, as of late anyway."

Other fans voiced their disappointment over what they saw as Cameron Bure’s endorsement of Clinton.

However, other fans came to Cameron Bure’s defense, stating that if they had an opportunity to take a photo with Clinton, they would do it too, despite disagreeing with her policies.

“Christians should love and respect everyone, even if their beliefs differ. That's what Jesus would do. I think this shows true Christianity," said one commenter in support of Cameron Bure.

Cameron Bure recently said she feels God may be telling her to resign as co-host of “The View” in order to focus on her family and her acting career.
