Hebrews 13:20-21 (NIV®)
May the God of peace... equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever.
God wants to respond to you supernaturally when you respond to Him. That’s true with our profession of faith, it’s true with our baptism in water, and it’s also true with whatever invitation Almighty God has before you right now. It may be an invitation to realign some habits in your life. It may be an invitation to forgive someone for whom you have carried anger for a long season. It may be an invitation to serve in a new way or to give with greater generosity. There are many ways that God presents invitations to us. Don’t resent them; celebrate them. If you recognize Almighty God has put something before you, know for a certainty His supernatural power is waiting to meet you when you cooperate with Him. What a privilege that is!
THINK ABOUT IT
Can you remember a time when you said yes to an invitation He placed before you and were enabled to carry it out by His supernatural power?
Heavenly Father, grant me a revelation of Jesus that is more real than the challenges of my life. Give me an understanding heart that I might know You. I rejoice today in the faithfulness of my God; You are my Rock and my Redeemer. Help me to be a willing and submissive servant who will be prepared and productive when You present me with an invitation. I refuse fear, hopelessness, and despair; I choose to walk in the light. Thank You for Your great mercy on my behalf. I know You are able to keep what I have committed to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
