John 11:23-27

Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he dies, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” She said to him, “Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.”

When you are struggling to believe in what God will do in your life, start with your faith in who God is!

Jesus intended to raise Lazarus, Martha’s brother, from the dead. Martha had seen Jesus do many miraculous things, but she was really struggling to have faith in what he was saying. But rather than just denying what Jesus said, Martha focused on her faith in Jesus himself. She said, “I have believed that you are the Christ, the Son of God, even he who comes into the world.”

Are you struggling with faith in some area of your life today? Let your faith in who God is, be the foundation for your faith in what he will do. Start with the seed of faith you do have and water it, and God will grow it into all the faith you need!
