TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT
Sometimes in this world, we can be surrounded by so many people and yet feel very lonely. Several different occurrences in our life can make us feel isolated: disappointment, hurts, pains, losses, fears, medical needs, and relationship problems. In Matthew 10:11 when Jesus says, “I am the Good Shepherd”, we are reminded that He is there to cherish us, guide us, provide for us, and protect us.
God is enough and with Him, we are never alone. We can rest in knowing that He is with us every step of the way. He is our all in all no matter the feelings or circumstance we face. We can never substitute our need for Him. It is in Him that we feel whole, complete, and at peace. Even if our circumstances may not have changed when we know our Good Shepherd and His love for us the mountains in this life become like little ant hills. In our Christian walk, we must be in the Word so that when life happens we know who our God is.
PRAY
Lord may we remember that You are our Good Shepherd and that you love us and care for us. May we seek You in Your Word and run to you when Life hits us hard. You are Enough. In Jesus name. Amen.
