Remembering the Goodness of the Lord – Beloved Women – September 28, 2023

“I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds.” (Psalms 77:11-12 ESV)
TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT
When I was a little girl, at bedtime I would review all of the good things that happened that day in my head before going to sleep. What if we started the day that way – reviewing all of the things the Lord did for us in the past? Do you think that focusing this way would make you more excited about unwrapping the gift of the new day?
We have an awesome God! He loves us dearly and is constantly working on our behalf. How is your life a testament to the work of God? Let Him know that you haven’t forgotten. Let Him know that you appreciate Him. Recount His wonders when you talk to Him. Slowing down long enough to review what the Lord has done in the past, helps strengthen our faith for the future. Try starting your day this way and see if it makes a difference.
PRAY
Wondrous God, You have done so much for me. Thank You. Lord, I want eyes to see You. I don’t ever want to take You for granted. Let’s talk about Your lovingkindness toward me yesterday. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I pray. Amen.
REFLECT
