Coincidence?

And David said to him [the Egyptian slave], “Can you take me down to this troop?” So he said, “Swear to me by God that you will neither kill me nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will take you down to this troop.”
1 Samuel 30:15

David needed to be directed to where he could find the Amalekites. He needed to rescue all the captives taken from Ziklag. The Egyptian slave was willing to take David and his men, with one condition––if he promised not to kill him. Interestingly, he asked David to swear by God that he would not kill him. The Egyptian did not know Elohim––God, but he recognized David as a man of God––a Hebrew. David was a man who would keep his word.

Notice, this situation was not a coincidence. God was leading and guiding David through the Egyptian slave who was left behind in a field by his Amalekite master. He knew exactly where to find the Amalekite troop. The Egyptian gave David a detailed account of the enemies’ whereabouts; he became a necessary eyewitness for them––amazing.

There are no coincidences with God. Everything He does is perfectly planned. Some people are keenly aware of God working behind the scenes and they give Him the glory. Others are unaware of how God is moving in a situation. Ask God to help you to be aware of how He is moving and working in the situations and circumstances of your life.

Then you can give Him all the glory.

You can see God from anywhere if your mind is set to love and obey Him.
