The Jesus Prayer

“Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner."

Strengthen Our Hearts

Lord God, heavenly Father, may your Holy Spirit strengthen our hearts and confirm our faith and hope in your grace and mercy. Although we have reason to fear because of our conscience, our sin and our unworthiness, we may nevertheless, with the woman of Canaan, hold fast to your grace and in every trial and temptation find you a very present help and refuge; through your beloved Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one true God, now and forever.

Morning Prayer for Mercy

O most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us.
O Lord, cleanse us from our sins.
O Master, pardon our transgressions.
O Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities,
for your name’s sake. Amen.

Prayer For Mercy and Grace

O God, our true Life, in whom and by whom all things live, you command us to seek you, and you are ready to be found. You command us to knock, and open when we do so. To know you is life, to serve you is freedom, to enjoy you is a kingdom, to praise you is the joy and happiness of the soul. I praise, bless, and adore you, I worship you, I glorify you, I give thanks to you for your great glory. I humbly ask you to remain with me, to reign in me, to make my heart your holy temple, a fit habitation for your Divine majesty. Maker and Preserver of all things, visible and invisible, preserve the work of your own hands, your people who trust in your mercy alone for safety and protection. Guard me with the power of your grace, here and in all places, now and at all times, forevermore. Amen.

Give Us Confidence in Your Mercy

Lord God, heavenly Father, you are merciful and through Christ you promised us that you will neither judge nor condemn us, but graciously forgive us all our sins and abundantly provide for all our needs of body and soul. By your Holy Spirit establish in our hearts a confident faith in your mercy and teach us also to be merciful to our neighbor, that we may not judge or condemn others, but willingly forgive all people, and judging only ourselves, lead blessed lives in your fear; through your dear Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one true God, now and forever.

A Prayer for Mercy

Lord, have mercy.
In all our needs…
In all our hurts…
In all our anxiety…

Lord, have mercy.
With all our questions…
With all we know…
With all we don’t know…

Lord, have mercy.
For healing…
For peace…
For a stronger trust in Your Word and promise…

Lord, have mercy.
To calm our doubts…
To soothe our fears…
To bear our griefs and carry our sorrows…

Lord, have mercy.
Help, save, comfort, forgive, strengthen and heal us by your grace. Amen.

In Your Great Mercy Set Us Free

O God, you are the author of love, and you love pure peace and affection. Heal the diseases of all Christians who are sick, and in your great mercy set free all who are terrified by fears, afflicted by poverty, weary with trouble, worn down by illness, burdened with punishment, and all prisoners and wanderers. Show them your compassion daily, lift them up, correct them, and protect them.

May God have mercy on us and remember us in His Kingdom. Amen.
