False Apostles

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15

Paul warned believers about Satan’s workers––false prophets. Not everyone who claims to be a Christian is. They can talk and smell like Christians, but they are not Christians. Satan’s ministers preach a false Gospel. Mormons will say they believe the same thing the Bible teaches. Liars! The book of Mormon is their doctrine-––not the Bible.

If you speak with someone in an occult, they will add to God’s Word––the Bible plus another book––be careful. The red flag should go up. God has given us spiritual discernment. Same thing with those who teach grace plus something else––again, it is a red flag warning. False Apostles face a heavy judgment––they will end up in hell––eternally lost.

I am always wary of people who tell me they saw an angel. I ask them, “What kind of light did you see?” Why? Satan transforms himself into an angel of light––a good angel. I would rather stick to the Word of God than to hear voices or see things.

The Apostle Paul spoke of three different armors in his Epistles. The armor of light is found in Romans 13:12; it is used in conflict with the flesh. The armor of righteousness is recorded in 2 Corinthians 6:7. It is used for the conflict with the world. The armor of God, found in Ephesians 6:11-17, is used in conflict with the devil––not with the world or the flesh––but specifically with the devil and his demons.

Spiritual battles are fought whenever a preacher is giving out the true Word of God, and when churches are standing for the Word of God. Satan will be there trying to hinder the work and deceive. He wants to destroy men of God, as well as any Bible teaching churches.

A biblical false prophet was a servant of the devil attempting to lead people away from the truth.
