A Cappella Rendition of 'When He Comes in Glory By and By'

“O how sweet ’twill be to meet the Lord, when He comes in glory, by and by;
What a song of praise will be outpoured, when He comes in glory, by and by.
How sweet! How sweet! When He comes in the sky!
What joy! What joy! When He comes in glory, by and by.”

This uplifting hymn called ‘When He Comes in Glory By and By’ was written by Arthur Westbrook. Arthur Westbrook was born in 1887 in Arkansas, and he was a singer, teacher principal, and editor of a local newspaper. He loved music and wrote many hymns, and he was active in his church and touched many lives in his community.

The man who is singing in this video is Michael Eldridge, and he is extremely talented. He sings the bass, lead, tenor, and alto parts in this song, and he does them all so beautifully. And when he blends all the different parts together, the song sounds so full and complete. The music and his vocals are just so soothing and lovely to listen to.

“Your music lifts my heart and soul! Blessings dear friend! What joy to listen to you!” comments one person after watching Michael’s YouTube video.

“Thank you so very much. That is a truly blessed and wonderfully uplifting hymn. It's a reminder that our redemption comes from above,” writes another person online.

We hope that you enjoyed this video today and it served as an encouragement to you!

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord."
