Calvinism is described by many people in many different ways, but at its essence, it starts with an understanding of scripture that believes that this truly testifies to God himself, as he's revealed himself to us. Also an understanding that God is at work in this world. The beauty of Calvinism is how it helps us understand what God has done through Jesus Christ.
