By now, most people who follow the news and some who don't know about the outrageous statements concerning the 9/11 victims made by Dr. Ward Churchill. Churchill is a tenured professor of Ethnic Studies and Coordinator of Amerian Indian Studies at the University of Colorado.
The statements, which came to light after a group of students protested his scheduled appearance at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., came from an extended essay on the September 11th attacks entitled, "Some People Push Back: On the Justice of Roosting Chickens." Churchill's eleven page diatribe against the American way of life included calling the victims who died in the World Trade Center "little Eichmanns" (a reference to Adolph Eichmann, a notorious Nazi war criminal).
