Buffalo in January

Dr. Ray Pritchard

3:46 PM I'm writing this note from the lobby of the Holiday Inn somewhere east of Buffalo, New York. Buffalo in January is supposed to be cold and snowy. Very snowy. Not this year. The weather here is a lot like Tupelo, a little colder but not much. I didn't see a bit of snow on the ground as the plane landed.

I'm here to speak at the Word of Life Leadership Development Conference today and tomorrow. It's a chance for local church leaders who serve in one of the Word of Life Bible clubs to receive training and inspiration. I'll speak tonight, tomorrow morning and tomorrow afternoon. I'm hoping to be back at my hotel Saturday night to see part of the late football playoff game between New England and Denver. On Sunday I have an early flight to Chicago where I'll meet Josh and Marlene for breakfast. At noon Marlene and I will fly to China, which means we'll be in the air (somewhere over northern Canada if we take the same polar route as last year) when the Bears beat the Panthers by the score indicated below.

3:46 PM Bears 17, Panthers 13.

3:45 PM Anthony Bollback has just posted the January issue of China Clippings.
