We need can be easily defeated by our circumstances. It seems that as life buffets us we become defeated and depleted. Yet, Scripture tells us, “Be strong, be courageous, all you that hope in the Lord” (Psalm 31:24). There is the key: all you who hope in the Lord. Those who take their eyes off their circumstances and rest in the Lord will experience strength and courage. Where does your hope lie?
