Letting it Go

Someone has said something that ruffles your feathers. Another has offered an unwanted opinion that has gotten under your skin. You carry a grudge when it is best to ‘let it go.’ We cannot afford to react to every trifle that comes our way. This takes emotional energy that we cannot spare to give. It drains us and causes us to build up resentment and bitterness. Let it go. “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you” (Ephesians 4:31-32).
