Do you have two minutes to spare?

If you’re a mom who has grown weary or you’re just in need of a dose of loving encouragement today, I have something for you.

Sally Clarkson is a talented and popular author who lives just up the road from us here in Colorado Springs. She and her husband, Clay, have four children and for nearly two decades have devoted themselves to helping mothers become better parents. You can learn more about their ministry here. You’ll also want to know that she has a new book coming out this Monday. It’s titled Desperate: Hope for the Mom Who Needs to Breathe.

Can you relate?

In Sally’s own words:

I believe that God created mothers with the capacity to inspire greatness, build godly moral leaders who will take God’s kingdom to bear in every area of life – government, medicine, the arts, literature, the military – that it is the shaping of souls that determines greatness of a people and cultivates virtuous faith

Motherhood is not just about meeting basic needs. God crafted motherhood to give women the opportunity to be warriors of righteousness in the battle of life. Women are intelligent and spiritual creatures who are capable of transforming history through building godly generations.

Amen!

I encourage you to watch this short video that she and her colleagues recently created. Please let us know how it strikes you. You probably have a friend who needs to see it, too. I hope you’ll consider forwarding this to them or posting it on your Facebook or Twitter account.
