Some Christians who profess great faith in God still struggle to maintain a consistent attendance at any local church.

During the past year, we have been preaching/teaching in the book of 1 Corinthians.

Here is the question I ask when a church lowers their expectations of attendance in the summer: Does God take a vacation in the summer?

God is faithful. He can use all circumstances for His glory.

Why not just pray together and preach in our worship services? Why not watch others perform songs? Does the congregation have to sing?

If I’m being completely honest, I’ll admit that having children is, more often than not, the only reason I’m in church.

Have you really savored our Savior lately? Have you paused to adore Jesus today? What about yesterday? This week?

Almost every day I see a social media post about what’s wrong with the church. I hear you. But I have one thing to say: Stop bashing the church.

This is the most basic reason. The Bible is ripe with commands to sing to the Lord. To do so privately and corporately.

I want them to see God as approachable and as a God who delights in them and rejoices over them as Scripture says he does.
