Today's Scripture

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. … Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit's leading in every part of our lives. Galatians 5:22-23,25 NLT

Thoughts for Today

This week we've looked at a number of techniques that will help us turn marital conflict into a positive experience. As we grow in our anger management skills, we will know when to keep quiet about trivial matters and when to argue for the sake of things important to the relationship. As we learn to do things God's way, we will learn to resolve marital conflict in ways that will strengthen our marriage and help the relationship become all that God intended it to be.

Prayer

Anger: Our Master or Our Servant
by Larry Heath. This study offers a clear explanation of anger, what causes it, and how to recognize when you are sinning with anger. It not only ministers to church members, but serves as a powerful evangelistic tool. Note: This curriculum was written especially for small groups and we encourage people to use it that way. However, it can also be used effectively as a personal study for individuals or couples.
