FORTRESS

You, O God, are my fortress,
my loving God.
PSALM 59:17

FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, remember when you used to play hide and seek? Or build forts to protect yourself from pretend enemies? When the real enemies and storms of life threaten you, and fear presses in on all sides, I will be your fortress. I am a safe hiding place where nothing can touch you. Come close. Let Me surround you with the walls of My protection.

A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
You're the wall that protects me from visible and invisible enemies, Lord. Whether it's trying circumstances or unfair criticism, You are my fortress. Like an immense castle with impenetrable walls, You seal me off from harm. I'm safe in You, Lord.

SIMPLE TRUTH

When the going gets tough, the tough hang on to Jesus.
