A Tender Heart
- Monday, January 13, 2014
As I work with couples week after week, a clear pattern has emerged: those who come to The Marriage Recovery Center with a heart of repentance, willing to change and be vulnerable, do far better than those whose hearts are hardened. We must keep our hearts tender, reminding ourselves that we are expected to show God’s tenderness toward us to others. We must keep in mind that God’s kindness toward us is for a purpose: “Do you not realize that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?” (Romans 2:4)
