Mackenzie and Darren were very conscientious of their health. They watched what they ate and had an active lifestyle. They loved experiencing new places whenever they had the chance. Hiking and skiing were their favorite hobbies.
Darren was trimming a tree in their back yard, and fell a great distance to the ground below. The accident resulted in substantial damage; his spinal cord was irreparably injured.
Their life style changed in an instant. Mackenzie needed to draw on her faith and truly have empathy and a tender heart for her husband. They needed to work together as a team to build a new “normal”.
(1 Peter 3:8) Finally, all of you have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.
