Keeping Small Things Small
- Wednesday, May 02, 2012
A small sliver under the skin can be enough irritation to ruin a day. A word misspoken can also ruin an otherwise wonderful connection to your mate. Since we aren’t perfect, we must have a built in ‘reset’ button that allows us to quickly apologize and get back to the joys of connection with our mate. Consider promptly admitting wrong when it occurs and be willing to forgive and get back to loving and enjoying one another. “I know that nothing good lives in me, that is in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but cannot carry it out” (Romans 7: 18).
