Live Orderly Lives
- Monday, March 24, 2014
Have you met anyone addicted to chaos? They seem to live in perpetual motion, jumping from one project to the next, living in chaos. Perhaps they stir up dissension and provoke those around them to anger. Their inner lives are chaotic and thus they provoke chaos around them. Thankfully, we don’t have to enter into their chaos. Just as we turn away from experiences that are hurtful to us, we push away from people who would bring chaos into our lives. This is done by having very good boundaries and being mindful of the impact others have on our lives. The Apostle Paul reminds us, “But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way” (I Corinthians 14:40).
