Managing Anger

Managing Anger

Anger is such a destructive emotion. Notice how many Scriptures implore us to put away anger, manage anger, control our anger. When angry we often say things we regret, think narrowly, even spin the truth out of proportion and lose perspective. The Apostle Paul tells us, “But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander and filthy language from your lips” (Colossians 3:8). Do you have any issues with anger? What deeper emotions is your anger hiding?
