Staying the Course
- Thursday, October 10, 2013
Years ago, when training for a marathon, I questioned whether I could ‘stay the course.’ Could I really run for 26.2 miles? There was only one way it could be done—by appropriate training. I did that training and finished the course; not once, but four times. I discovered an inner fortitude I didn’t know I had. Have you discovered that you can set goals for yourself and attain them, one step at a time? This is not done, of course, by your strength alone, but by focus, determination and by the empowering of the Holy Spirit in your life.
