Steady plodding and gathering little by little is God’s strategy for providing for our financial need, not winning the mega jackpot. So how are you doing with this steady plodding? This principle means nothing more than spending less than we make and saving and investing the rest so we can be prepared for life’s unexpected turns.
Here’s one quick way you can begin applying the steady plodding principle: talk to your bank and ask them to automatically transfer, twice a month, a certain amount of money into a savings account that has restrictions put on it. Pay yourself first, than use the remainder to live on. This is how you will slowly build financial reserves God’s way.
