The amazing thing about Good Friday is that it was -- and is -- part of the “good” declared by God at creation.
Having seen that God loved us enough that He did not spare even His own Son, how can we lack for hope today, even in bleak times?
We sometimes believe we’ll gain more of a hearing if we present Jesus as teacher but not as a former corpse. It is too disturbing, we think to ourselves, too weird. How then do we communicate the Easter story to children, as something more than dyed eggs?
