Veterans Day
Veterans or not, those who serve are all around us today. So let’s give thanks for the difference they have made in our lives.

Churches have much to offer in helping veterans heal, even when the wounds include post-traumatic stress disorder and brain injury.

We see the obvious price they’ve paid, but what we don’t see are their psychological wounds.

Often we don't pause to ponder the meaning of these commemorative days, but Nov. 11, 1987, is when Veterans Day became special to me.
